You start with free matches, and after those it runs on coins. Rather than a price table that goes stale, here is the part that decides what anything costs you: which mode you are in.

Your free matches are not a one-off starter pack that disappears for good. They top up again over time, so running out is not the end of using the site. How quickly that happens is set on our side and can change, which is exactly why there is no number written on this page — a number here would be out of date before it was useful.
A video match only counts once the first frame actually arrives. An attempt that never delivered a picture is not a conversation you had.
Nothing is spent before you are actually connected to someone. There is no charge for arriving, and no account needed to look around.
Moving on to the next person is not a penalty and is not billed as a separate action. It ends the current conversation and puts you back in the same queue.
That it is free forever. It is not. You can start, have real conversations and decide whether you like it without paying, signing up or installing anything — but video and voice do eventually run on coins, and a site that pretends otherwise is setting you up to feel misled later.
